MINTY PERFECTIONS: BLOG REVIEW >>

Nightingale: Today we’ll be reviewing the lovely Edie Rose’s blog, Minty Perfections. She sent us our first blog submission, which we’re very excited to complete - thanks again Edie Rose!
Narwhal: Minty Perfections is a great blog! The posts are about topics that kids enjoy, and are usually not too long. If you are looking for something to read that doesn't need a ton of thinking, this is perfect. The posts aren't often very 'deep'.
So I think that seven to ten (or eleven) year olds would enjoy this blog the most.

Panda: Edie Rose’s blog is perfect for some easy, light reading. There are hints of a very talented writer hidden amongst her posts. One thing I did notice, though, is that her titles aren’t consistent, meaning that sometimes there will be capital letters in her post titles, and sometimes the titles will be too sentence-like and there are no capitals.

Nightingale: I have a comment as well. While her blog gives off an upbeat, happy vibe, I thought maybe it would be best for her to choose a simple wallpaper that doesn’t take away from the content. The fonts and colors are great, but I thought that she should go for a little more simple look. Great job on the rest of the design, Edie Rose!

Narwhal: I agree with Nightingale. :) I also noticed that the button doesn't match the header, and I'm not too keen on that.

Panda: There are some really good pictures in a bunch of her posts, as well as some fun little icons and buttons all the way down the side of her blog. I would recommend putting her blog archive closer to the top so readers can view some more of her amazing content.

Nightingale: I also have something to say. Going along with what Panda and Narwhal said above, maybe her posts could appeal to a wider audience and age group if she broke from the norm and created some deep, thoughtful posts once in a while. We want to know more about the girl behind the screen, Edie Rose - so show her to us! It’s always very interesting to take a peek inside the blogger’s mind to see what they’re thinking about, so consider raising a meaningful question you’ve always wondered about so you can engage readers and hear their responses.

Everyone: Thanks, Edie Rose!

We'll have two more blog reviews plus Panda and Narwhal's posts to look forward to, so follow us on Bloglovin' to stay up-to-date! Thanks for reading!
